What I Got For My Birthday 2015

This haul is going up a little bit late as finding the time to blog lately has been really hard but I 100% want to start getting straight back into things now I have a bit more time on my hands.
So, on the 1st of July I turned 22 (scary stuff - I feel so old) and I wanted to do everything in my power to make this birthday a special one. I know typically 22 isn't one of the big ones that people celebrate but for me it was as I never got a chance to celebrate my 21st last year. So I did exactly as planned and had the BEST weekend ever. Full of drinking, trips to London, far too much food and some quality time with friends and family. Definitely well needed and it's safe to say I am no longer feeling sorry for myself for missing my 21st - haha.

 Along with an amazing time I also was lucky enough to get some amazing presents! I have been well and truly spoilt this year and I couldn't be anymore grateful to all my family, friends and boyfriend who bought me all these goodies.
So, thought I'd kick start myself back into blogging with a What I got for my birthday haul - I just want to quickly mention that I'm not going to review or talk in debth about any of these items as I would literally be here forever and I don't want to make this post any longer than needs be (although I have already rambled myself into oblivion) but I will review anything separately in another post if anyone wants to hear about any product in particular. So, enough rambling - Here's what I got for my 22nd Birthday...

I got 2 perfumes this year and they both two of my faves.
I  got my ultimate favourite (and one I had been lusting after who god knows how long) which is Dior Hyponotic Poison 100ml EDP. This is definitely going to be my special occasion scent. It's very musky, deep and creamy.
The second perfume was from my best friend and she bought me this because I am forever stealing hers and spraying myself with it when we're together. This is the popular Killer Queen by Katy Perry 100ml EDP, it's very fun, fruity and musky. A perfect everyday perfume.

I got rather a lot of makeup this year and have been very lucky as all these items were on my wishlist!I am so excited about all of these products and cannot wait to start using them - whether it be on myself or adding them to my professional kit.
I'll start with my two new Mac lipsticks, both as you can see I have swatched for you.
These are Mac Taupe - Matte finish, a dark nudey brown
and
Mac Chilli - Matte finish, a browney dark orange.This next product I was SO happy with as I have been wanting it for ages but as nowhere in the UK sells it, I have never been able to get my hands on it (and I am not a fan of internet shopping.)
This is the Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in Medium Brown, I have already used this a few times and I am absolutely loving it.
I also got the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara and oh my god this stuff is amazing. Again my best friend bought me this because I was so impressed when I tried out hers. Very good quality and this has easily become one of my favourites already.
Last but definitely not least, I got the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette which was one of the items on my wishlist (I'm going to use this for both myself and my pro kit.) Beautiful Palette with some of the nicest pink eye shadows I have ever seen! So happy with this present.

Now here is my main present and I could not be happier with these brushes! I have already had SO much enjoyment from using these and every.single.brush is amazing quality. My boyfriend (being the absolute gem that he is) bought me the entire Zoeva Makeup Brush Collection with a Makeup Belt. It comes with all 25 of their signature brushes and this very handy professional makeup belt - perfect for when I am on the job and need to grab brushes quickly. I am so grateful to my boyfriend for buying me these as I know how expensive the whole kit is to buy. I've wanted them for so so long and I know these are going to last me forever. If you're a makeup artist (or even if you just want some nice quality brushes) then these really are your guy. I will do a full review on this set very soon so you can find out more.
Whilst being on the topic of makeup brushes I also got this 5 piece set by  Ecotools - another brand I have been wanting to try out for a long time. I haven't yet tried these out but they look and feel lovely. Very soft brushes and I think I'll get a lot of use from the blusher brush especially.

I just wanted to mention the last few little bits I received before I wrap this post up.
One of my best friends got me this very luxurious Hand Lotion by Ted Baker and this stuff smells seriously good. Very floral and sweet and leaves your hands feeling like silk.
I also got things like body sprays and mists, here is a Mango Spray by Boots Extracts (it smells good enough to eat), Bath stuff and clothes!
My parents gave me money for a pair of Pandora earings I've wanted for a while but I haven't bought them yet as my local store didn't have them in. Hence why there is no picture of them to insert (boohoooo.)
But there we have it - my what I got for my birthday haul. I am so lucky and so grateful to everyone who helped make it special.

What do you want for your birthday?

My Mac Lipstick Collection 2015

Here we have it - My Mac lipstick collection - I have been wanting to do this post for absolutely AGES but wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with all my shades and had all the colours I wanted in my collection first. Ever since I bought my first mac lipstick about two years ago, I became obsessed with the massive variety of colours and finishes they had and I haven't been able to stop collecting them since.
I have now have 22 lipsticks - which some people might think is absolutely ridiculous and don't get me wrong I agree.. but why not? Some people's hobby is collecting stamps or bottle caps and mine just happens to be lipsticks. I do however believe that becoming a makeup artist has made it worse as my excuse is now always "it's for my job" and I am not entirely sure that's always true but hey ho, let's just get on with it shall we?

I'm going to start with my Nudes as these are the lipsticks I have the least of. It's very rare that I will ever wear a nude lipstick as I just don't think they suit my complexion or skin tone - and I always feel very bare when wearing them. However, talking about them in picture order from left to right I have..

Please Me - A medium muted pink with a warm underdone. This looks great on paler skin as it doesn't wash you out and the warm tones bring out your colour. It's a great everyday lipstick and probably what I'd describe as a "your lips but better" colour. It's a matte formula so it's long lasting too.
Angel - Unfortunately this is my least favourite lipstick out of my entire collection and the one I only kept purely for my professional kit (as it would be good for weddings/brides). It's a very sheer and light pink and it's frost formula makes it more like lip-gloss than a lipstick. Not long lasting, and unfortunately not a lot of pigment - which is a shame because the actual colour of the lipstick is beautiful. Good for every day wear and if you're someone who doesn't like a lot of colour on your lips however.
Spirit - This is the very popular and typical "Kylie Jenner nude" and I absolutely love it. It's a darker browney nude and it's a very warm shade.It's my most recent lipstick as it took me forever to get hold of but I can already tell I'm going to get a lot of wear out of this. It's a Satin which is one of my favourite finishes - long lasting but not as drying as a matte and it's the perfect nude for both everyday wear and evenings out to pair with a dark smokey eye.
Craving - I love this colour, it was one of my favourites during the autumn/winter months. It's a muted berry shade with purple undertones, so definitely something more for the colder months. This suits all skin types and it's an amplified finish so it's nice and creamy on the lips - very pigmented too.

Next we have all my Pinks.
Relentlessly Red - It's called "red" but this lipstick is 100% a dark pink. If you are familiar with the lipstick All Fired Up then you will see that Relentlessly Red is almost identical! This is such a unique pink and I definitely don't have anything else like it. It's a Retro Matte, so it's very long lasting and very very opaque. It's a deep and bright dark pink (if that makes any sense) and it's a real feel good lipstick. It also makes your teeth look SO white - which is also an added bonus.
Impassioned - A very popular and well loved pink! Bright, fun and perfect for the upcoming summer months. It has a peachy/coral undertone to it making it very unique and versatile for different occasions. Definitely one of my favourites. It's an amplified finish so again it's nice and creamy.
Fusion Pink - A bright Fuchsia pink with beautiful shimmers running through it. Very easy to wear and definitely a lipstick I believe could suit anyone. Again it's an amplified finish too, so highly pigmented and perfect for nights out when you want a deep and daring pink.
Show Orchard - Very similar to fusion pink as it again is a bright Fuchsia pink with silver shimmers through it - however this one is definitely brighter, prettier and has better staying power then most amplified's I have tried. It's such a fun and beautiful pink and definitely one of those lipsticks everyone needs in their stash.
Candy Yum Yum - The brightest pink of them all! Candy yum yum has to be the most daring pink I have ever owned and this one definitely took me a long time to get used too. It's a neon pink and has to be one of the most pigmented lipsticks I have ever worn. It's a matte finish, but surprising isn't drying at all. If you're brave enough to rock a neon pink then this one is definitely for you. I cannot wait to bring this out during summer.
Next are my favourite colours of them all; Oranges
Neon Orange
- One of my most favourite and most worn lipsticks ever! A very bright and true orange. I find this goes well with any makeup look and it literally brightens and warms up any skin tone/complexion. An all rounder as I wear this summer, spring, autumn and winter and it's definitely a colour I will never get bored of. A must have for any lipstick collection. Amplified finish too which is my favourite.
Morange - This is literally identical to neon orange so I won't go into much detail. Perhaps half a shade darker but nothing I would deem as noticeable and also an amplified finish. You definitely do not need both of these lipsticks.
Saigon Summer - Like its name suggests this is the ultimate summer shade. So pretty and what I would describe as an orange sherbet/pastel colour. Not too in your face and definitely more subtle than the others I have mentioned. This is the only cremesheen finish I own but it's very moisturizing and pigmented and I love this lipstick.
Vegas Volt - Another one of my favourite lipsticks. This is a peachy/orangey coral and good lipstick for when you want to add a pop of colour but nothing too extreme. Such a perfect peach and definitely one I don't hear enough about. This is an amplified finish and great one for spring/summer.
My most worn and used lipsticks - The Reds
Ruby Woo - One of Macs most famous lipsticks. A very classic and vintage red with blue undertones. The perfect colour for any night out and one of those real "I feel sexy" lipsticks. It's a matte finish and this one literally lasts all night with minimal topping up.
Lady Danger - The perfect orange toned red and my ultimate favourite. Bright, beautiful and bold - you will not go un-noticed with this lipstick. Such a perfect all rounder with a matte finish. Another one you should not go without.
So Chaud - Very similar to lady danger with it's orange tonnes and matte finish. Very little difference apart from the fact that this leans more towards an orange and Lady Danger leans more towards a red.
Last but by no means least - The Purples
Up The Amp - A very true lilac and the lightest from my collection. Perfect if you're not brave enough to wear a bright purple but want to start giving it a go. Very creamy and moisturizing with an amplified finish. I don't really wear this lipstick as I find it washes me out and doesn't match my complexion at all.
Flat Out Fabulous - Like the name would suggest, the colour of this lipstick is fabulous and unlike anything I have seen before. It's a bright not quite there purple with pink undertones. This matches so many different skin tones and definitely gives your face a great pop of colour. Matte finish and so long lasting.
Heroine - Another very famous lipstick by Mac. The truest and most on point purple you will find from any brand. Very bright, bold and daring but if you have the guts to wear it you will not be disappointed. So opaque and texturized with a lovely matte finish.
Rebel - The first ever Mac lipstick I bought and my most favourite. The most perfect berry shade with purple undertones. This really does suit everyone and it's a favourite for so many people I know. A definite must have with a satin finish. I have done a few reviews on this if you wish to find out more.
Darkside - The perfect winter shade. A dark berry red with both purple and brown undertones. Very bold and I feel like I'm making a real statement when I wear this. So glossy too which I think is perfect for a darker lipstick. Amplified finish.

And there we have it - my Mac lipstick collection. I hope you enjoyed having a nose at what I have because I know I love looking at other peoples collections.
What Mac lipsticks do you have and what are your favourites?

Beauty/Favourites Haul

Thought I would merge a haul and a favourites together today as I realise I haven't done either in a long time. I have bought a lot of new makeup over the last couple of months (both for my professional kit and pleasure) so I've chosen my favourite products from my new collection of things and I am excited to share them with you!

First I'm going to talk lips and these particular two I have not stopped wearing! They're both beautiful summer shades and go well with any outfit you want to wear.
The first is one of the new launches by Clinique and it is the Pop Lip Colour and Primer in the shade Poppy Pop and I cannot get enough of this lipstick! It is the most beautiful orangey/coral colour and a complete statement for the up coming summer months. As is states in the name - it also works as a lip primer so this literally lasts hours (with minimal topping up) on your lips and gives so much moisture and hydration! So you definitely don't need to be worrying about getting dry lips with these either. They retail at £16 and Clinique have some gorgeous other shades in this range too!
Next is a luxury lipstick and this is the Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Velvet Underground and this is a must have if you're looking for an original hot pink shade! I have so many pink lipsticks but it's safe to say I have none like this. Luxurious, long-lasting and very creamy (but not slippy at all.) This is expensive at £23 but completely worth it if you're wanting to treat yourself to a finer lipstick.

Now these two eye brushes by Mac had been on my list of things to buy for a long time - more for my professional kit than anything else because I've read endless reviews on how amazing and easy they are to use. I have now become completely dependant on them and I don't understand how I managed to do my eye makeup before these! They are the Mac 224 and the Mac 217 and they really do make a huge difference towards the quality of your eye makeup.
I use the 224 as an all over blending brush and the 217 as a crease/outer corner brush and they blend eye shadow out like a dream! They range from about £15-£20 and are completely worth buying if you're looking to build a professional makeup kit (or just want some good ones for yourself.)

I'm going to mention the only skincare I have in this haul and this is the Dramatically Different moisturizing lotion by Clinique and this seems to have managed to permanently sort my skin out. As I've mentioned many times before - I'm always on the hunt for moisturizers that work with dry/dehydrated skin and this finally seems to have sorted my problem out once and for all. My skin no longer feels tight or dry and my foundation no longer clings to dry patches or look uneven. I have been using it everyday before I apply my makeup and the results have been amazing!

A quick mention on this little bargain I came across a few months back - This is the Extreme Maximum Volume Mascara by Essence and it is the cheapest yet most effective mascara I have ever tried. It gives my lashes SO much length and volume and doesn't bleed or smudge at all. I use it every single day now and I don't think I'll go back to anything else as this works a lot better than some high end/more expensive mascaras I have used. This little beauty retails at only £2.80 so you really cannot go wrong. Wilkinsons and Savers stock Essence makeup so it's easy to get hold of too!

Taking it back to luxury products these last two items I want to mention are not only my favourites but my everyday staples too! Both products are expensive but well and truly worth it if you are willing to spend the money.
First is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in shade Dim Light and this is by far the most effective and prettiest finishing powder I have ever used. These powders focus on light and the way it reflects off your skin and I 100% believe they do as they claim. It leaves you with the most subtle and prettiest glow on your skin. It makes your skin look so healthy and dewey but without being shiny or oily at all and your skin definitely looks more flawless after applying this too. Amazing product and completely worth the £38 I paid for it.

Saving the best till last this complete beauty is the Burberry Warm Glow Bronzer in Nude Glow No.3 and it is possibly one of the best products I have ever spent my money on - and that is a huge statement to make! I love everything from the luxurious packaging down to the product and quality of this item and I love how it looks on my skin too. I have never found a bronzer I have been completely satisfied with before - as I have always found them to be either too orangey, too muddy or too subtle on my skin tone and therefore contouring has not always been the easiest thing to do on myself - until now. It's completely the right shade for my skin tone and it blends out like an absolute dream so you don't have to worry about getting patches and wrong pigmentation on your skin. I will say no more as I am doing a full review on this very soon. It's £30 but I personally think is quite reasonable considering Burberry makeup is very high-end and expensive.

What products have you been loving for the upcoming summer months?

Top Five Foundations

I am back and I am kicking it off with my top five foundations which I know is a very popular post. It took me a long while to chose a top five as I genuinely love every foundation in my collection and I often switch up my foundation daily depending on where I am going and what kind of look I am going for. I would like to point out that I have a dry/dehydrated skin type and therefore will use foundations that hydrate, have a Dewey finish and aren't too thick or heavy in consistency, so what might work for me, might not work for you depending on your skin type and personal preference. However I have tried to go for a different variety and I hope this helps anyone looking to buy a new foundation or anyone who has a similar skin type to me.

So here we have it - my top five! The crème de la crème of my collection and the foundations I find myself reaching for the most.
I am going to start by talking about the little Hourglass pot that's in the photo. You're probably thinking "how can she put a tester in a top five?" but let me explain.. about a two months or so ago, a lady who worked on the Hourglass counter matched me up to their Illusion Tinted Moisturiser and gave me a sample pot to take home and try. Ever since that day I have worn this foundation almost daily and am embarrassed to say I have now gone through three sample pots (I am cheeky - but wanted to make sure I was certain on this foundation as it is very expensive) and I think it has actually become my most favourite foundation ever - which is a huge statement to make. I would also like to say I have finally ordered a full sized one online - hurray!
This foundation is amazing if you have dry or combo skin. It's so creamy and hydrating on the skin but also gives amazing coverage - which is rare for a tinted moisturiser. It lasts all day long, gives you the healthiest glow and I would go as far as saying it's actually helped my skin and given me permanent moisture back. Definitely go and pick up a tester pot if your buy an Hourglass counter and you should 100% notice the difference in your skin.
Next are the two foundations I have spoken about countless times before on my blog and therefore I will not ramble too much about them as you can find full reviews on both of these on my previous blog posts.

The Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser is my absolute favourite in the summer and was the only foundation I took away on both of my holidays last year. It's very lightweight and dewey on the skin, so I wear it on days where I don't want too much coverage but still want to make my skin look glowy and awake - so perfect for wearing to work or on a hot day in the summer. Very easy to blend and could definitely be buildable if you wanted something that little bit more!

Next we have my most talked about foundation ever - The YSL Touche Éclat I literally cannot comprehend how many times I've mentioned this foundation in the past. It has the perfect consistency for my skin type and It just feels and looks so luxurious on your face. Very easily blendable, easily buildable and the most natural and healthy looking foundation I have ever used. I definitely recommend going to a YSL counter and asking for a free 7 day sample of this. Try it for yourself and notice how natural and radiant it will leave your skin looking and feeling.

Next I have the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation and this is by far my favourite drugstore foundation of all time. I find it very hard to find a drugstore foundation that is either kind to my skin or gives me the right finish but this for me definitely does both! I would say it gives a medium coverage with a light to dewey finish, which as I have previously mentioned is perfect for me. This foundation feels so much more expensive than it is and I cannot believe it's amazing quality for only six pounds. Such a bargain and definitely not one to miss! It blends into your skin like a dream and looks even better if applied with a buffer or kabuki brush. Match Perfection also has a wide range of shades to choose from (which is rare for drugstore foundations) and gives the most radiant glow to your skin. It also smells amazing too - which is obviously a bonus!

Last but definitely not least I have my trusty and well loved Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation - A popular choice for many! Estee Lauder describe the foundation as medium coverage but I would personally say it is more medium to full coverage. This is the only foundation I own which has a heavier coverage and it's safe to say I have never tried anything like it. I absolutely love how it looks on my skin and it is the best product to use on a night out or if you're going to an occasion where you want your foundation to last all day/night. This foundation has amazing staying power, and even though it has a thick consistency - it doesn't transfer onto your clothes which is definitely something to look out for when purchasing a foundation. Over all a luxurious and beautiful foundation!

There we have it - My top five foundations of all time.
I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope this gives you a good insight to some foundations you're maybe wanting to try out.

What are your favourite foundations?

Rodial: Stemcell Superfood Skincare

Today I wanted to do a quick review on the Rodial Super-food Kit I bought a couple of months back. When I bought this kit I hadn't heard about any of their Super-food range and had never used anything by Rodial before so this was very much a spontaneous purchase for me (which is rare as I normally research everything and anything before I buy it.)
I had heard very good things about Rodial as a brand and have often seen their makeup products in peoples favourite videos etc so when I saw that a local Marks and Spencers stocked their chain, I just had to have a browse at all their products.
The Super-food kit particularly caught my eye because it works against dry skin and all the products in the kit claimed to focus on hydrating and brightening the skin, which as I mentioned before is what I ALWAYS look for when buying my skincare.
The kit comes with four different products and they are;
* 2 in 1 Cleanser
* Facial Oil
* Brightening Day Cream
* Multi Purpose Glam Balm
And all of these products are absolutely amazing and more than I could have ever imagined when I bought them. I've been using these four products everyday for the past three weeks and there is such a huge difference in my skin. I no longer have any dry skin or patches on my face, my skin always looks hydrated and healthy and it's definitely added a lot more brightness to my skin.
My favourite product of them all has to be the Super-food Day Cream as it instantly leaves your skin feeling hydrated and healthy. It has very very tiny shimmers in it (which are hardly noticeable) so it leaves your skin looking bright and a lot more awake. I use this on it's own before putting foundation on, as I feel it's enough for my skin. So I would recommend trying it alone before you use it with a primer or CC cream.
The Facial Oil is another brilliant product as it doesn't leave your skin looking greasy or oily at all. It comes with a pipet so I just put one drop onto the back of my hand and then rub the oil into any dry patches on my face. I get driest around the corners of my nose and just above my lip - so I will usually just put a tiny bit those areas and it instantly sinks in and leaves everything looking moisturised.
As I mentioned previously, the kit also contains a Multi-Purpose Balm and a 2 in 1 Cleanser. These products are also amazing and really bring everything together. The balm, I find works best on the lips (as just a normal lip balm) or over the areas you used the oil on, to add some extra protection. The cleanser is good because it leaves your skin feeling so clean and hydrated and primes your skin ready for the other products in the kit so over-all these can all work amazingly together or you can use them separately, as and when you like.

As I have mentioned many times on blog before; I am not one using a lot of skincare and it is something I will rarely blog about as I always stick to what I like and I don't use too much of it. So for me to want to dedicate a whole post to these products must show you just how amazing I think they are. I am always on the look out for products that claim to be hydrating and focus on working with dry skin, as I would say this is the only problem I find I have with my skin. I am so happy with how my skin looks and feels at the moment and this is definitely down to the Rodial Super-food range.
As previously mentioned, Rodial is stocked in the larger Marks and Spencers stores and you can also find them on most UK beauty websites. Definitely have a look into the products if you also have problems with dry or dry to combo skin. The kit costs £34 but you can probably find it slightly cheaper if you have a look around on different websites.

Have you tried any of Rodials skincare products?

Matte Mineral Pigment's by Younique

Just wanted to do a quick review on these new matte pigments by Younique. I was given a great opportunity to chose one of their shades (they have a huge range of different colours) and try it out and I am so happy I did. I decided to go for the shade "Irresistable" which as you can see is a nice medium cool toned brown - perfect for running through your eyebrows, which for me personally is what I use this particular pigment for. They also have darker browns and light ashy/blonde colours, so if you're looking for an easy-to-use eyebrow powder than these are your guy! They have shades to suit everyone and of course, they have amazing colours to create a nice neutral eye look too. I apply mine with my Real Techniques Eyeliner Brush and just lightly run the pigment through my brows. They are SO highly pigmented and long lasting, so I find a little goes a long way with these. So you only need to apply the smallest amount and use with a light hand - which is also good for money value as you're not going to be hitting pan anytime soon. They look so natural and pretty on your eyes too. I wore this pigment with a gold smokey eye - using my shade Irrestistable through the crease and then lightly smoking it all out and it looked amazing. These pigments are so easy to blend and they are also sweat and crease proof - which is another thing I loved about using this. Perfect for nights out when you need something that's going to be a bit more long lasting.
Would highly recommend - It's not very often you find loose pigments in a matte formula, which is really what caught my eye with these. They also come in many other shades too so if you're interested in having a look I will leave the lovely lady Lindsey's link at the bottom of this blog post who can tell you a lot more and help you find the right pigments for you.

Just thought I'd insert a picture (forget my makeup-free face) of me wearing nothing but my pigment in Irresistible through my brows. As you can see the colour matches my complexion and hair colour very well - It looks very natural and the colour isn't too harsh or over-done. So easy to use and it literally takes seconds!

Thankyou for reading - Have you tried any of Youniques matte pigments?

Mini Makeup Haul

So, as always I've been doing a spot of shopping recently and thought I'd do a post on some of the new bits of makeup I've picked up. Everything I bought (minus the Nars blusher) was from Boots as they're currently doing 3 for 2 across all makeup brands and as you know I just cannot say no to this. I've had my eye on all of these products for ages so I'm really happy to have picked some of them up on a good deal. So without further ado I'm going to get right into it and share with you some of the new things I've been buying recently;

The first, and the best thing is this Stila - In The Light Palette and oh my god I am in love with this! I've been uming and ahing on whether to buy this for a long time as some of the shades are very similar to those in the Naked Palette but there was only so many times I could walk past this in boots before I decided to jump the gun and buy it!
 It comes with ten shades, four which are matte and six shimmers and they are all so beautiful. It also comes with a waterproof eyeliner which I've tried and I must say - its very good.
 I especially like this palette because you can do so much with it - it's very versatile and the shadows are all easily blendable and highly pigmented. You also don't get any fallout with these which is a winner when you're buying eye shadows. Very high quality and beautiful shadows and I would recommend these to any eyeshadow lover who's looking to purchase a new palette. This was £25 from boots which is very good for the quality of these shadows!

Next I picked up another Soap and Glory - Supercat Liquid Liner Pen which is my favourite liquid liner to use as I've mentioned many times before on my blog. I use this near enough every day and haven't found another liner that yet beats this. I won't go into any more detail than this because it's a product I often rave about but yeah - I love this and it was only £6 from boots.

Another product that I have had my eye on for a while is this Seventeen - Skin Wow Highlighter and I must say this is SO good considering how cheap it is. It's a light liquid highlighter than can be used as a primer underneath foundation to give a dewey/glowy look, it can be used to mix with foundation before applying or you can use it straight on the skin as a cream highlighter to blend in with your makeup. I'm going to go as far as saying that this is a good dupe for the Nars - illuminator in Copacabana but slightly less pink toned. So if you're looking to try the Nars illuminators but want to try out something cheaper first - then definitely try this. Amazing product for only £5 in Boots.

Last but not least I have the Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit and my Nars Blusher in Sin - Both of these products are amazing quality and have both become products I use almost every day in my makeup routine.
The Chisel Cheeks kit is something that is currently being raved about by every blogger/vlogger out there and I can definitely see why. I tried to purchase this weeks ago when it first got launched but every Boots/Superdrug I went into it had been sold out - so I was extremely excited when I finally managed to get my hands on it. It comes with three colours, one yellow toned powder which is perfect for setting under concealer, an orange toned bronzer which is perfect for all over if you want to add some colour and then a darker toned bronze which is the contour colour. The bronzers are so highly pigmented and long lasting - which shocked me as the palette was so cheap. I would definitely recommend using them with a light hand though as so much product comes off onto your brush and you don't want to over-load. Overall a good product and perfect for only £6.49.

Last I just want to mention this beautiful blusher which is Sin by Nars, It's not often one that is talked about a lot in the beauty world and I don't know why as this is just so unique and pretty. It's a purple toned blusher with grey/silver flecks running through it - so if used with a light hand this could also be used as the perfect highlight too. I would recommend more for slightly darker skin, as the blush can appear quite dark on lighter skin tones but this is just so pretty and like all of Nar's blushers - the quality is next to none. I was lucky enough to be able to get this a lot cheaper than it's original price - but I would definitely pay the full amount as it's so gorgeous and unlike any blusher I have seen or used before.
That's it for what I've been buying recently, I hope you enjoyed and feel free to let me know what you've been loving lately from the drugstores.
